Oral Syrup, SF, Sugar-Free Flavored Syrup Vehicle

A sugar-free, clear to slightly tinted, cherry flavoured liquid formulated to assist compounding pharmacists in the preparation of extemporaneous dosage forms when dietary restrictions are of a concern. Oral Syrup, SF is prepared with a slightly acidic pH and with a balance of preservatives and buffering agents to help minimize common degradation. This sugar-free syrup vehicle may be used alone as a flavouring agent in aqueous solutions, or in combination with MEDISCA’s Oral Suspend to help increase the physical stability of the suspension. Contains no actives. Alcohol and dye-free.
