Ascorbic Acid, USP/EP (Tapioca Source) ranges from white to slightly yellow in colour, and comes either as crystals or powder in texture. The product is light-sensitive and on exposure to light will gradually darken. In the dry state, Ascorbic Acid is reasonably stable in air but in solution it rapidly oxidizes.
