Do we have access to the FLAVORx formulas for flavoring a liquid medication?
MEDISCA is making FLAVORx flavors available to its customers for use in compounded medications, but purchasing these flavors does not mean the pharmacy is a FLAVORx customer. If, for an additional fee, you would like to gain access to the FLAVORx formulary for commercially available liquid medication recipes, as well as marketing support and inclusion with store locators, please begin by completing our FLAVORx Registration Form.
How do FLAVORx flavors compare to the MEDISCA flavors that my compounding pharmacy has been using in our formulations?
FLAVORx flavors are interchangeable with the current water-soluble flavors that you are using in your aqueous oral liquid formulations. Essentially, FLAVORx flavors can be used in a 1:1 substitution with the water-soluble flavors that you are currently using in these formulations.
