Sales Representative

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals to join our Sales Team. We offer a full benefit package including group insurance, vacation, personal days, educational assistance and more. This position is base salary plus commission, with unlimited earning potential. Full and complete training is given to all new employees. The main purpose of this position is to build and strengthen customer relationships, increase sales within the assigned territory, provide excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts. This position focuses equally on both prospecting new business and maintaining & servicing existing customers. Sales are conducted mainly over the phone, with travel to customer locations once every quarter. Customers are typical small to medium sized businesses, with the contact person being the pharmacist.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build relationships with and provide service to existing customers
    • Receive and process orders, source new chemicals, pricing
    • Track shipping, request purchases and production of orders
    • Offer compounding products and network services to customers
  • Prospect and generate sales from new customers
    • Call preparation, probing, cold calling, closing
    • Research and identify new business opportunities, follow up on referrals from existing clients
  • Problem solving and customer service
    • Research the problem to determine the source, find resolution that would benefit all or most parties involved
    • Ensure orders are shipped timely, follow up on all back orders
    • Inform and educate clients about new products on the market and developments in the industry
  • Update knowledge of industry trends
    • Identify sales trends and product use within assigned areas by reading journals, industry publications and other sources
    • Research new developments, get customer feedback on what is new and upcoming

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • College or University Diploma in Science field


  • Minimum one (1) to four (4) years of sales experience


  • Fluent English required, Spanish is an asset


  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite and Internet applications


  • Ideal candidate would be memorable, dynamic & animated


  • Proven abilities in finding and closing sales


  • Excellent listening & questioning skills


  • Effective organizational, time management and interpersonal skills


  • Good telephone mannerism, positive attitude, internally motivated


  • Enthusiastic, goal-setter, customer service oriented


  • Comfortable working with short sale cycle


  • Minimal travel required
