Outside Sales Representatives

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals to join our Sales Team. We offer a full benefit package including group insurance, vacation, personal days, educational assistance and more. This position is base salary plus commission, with unlimited earning potential. Full and complete training is given to all new employees. The main purpose of this position is to build and strengthen customer relationships, increase sales within the assigned territory, provide excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts. This position focuses equally on both prospecting new business and maintaining & servicing existing customers. The position is primarily outside sales, with the majority of sales occurring at the site. Road trips are involved. Customers are typical small to medium sized businesses, with the contact person being the pharmacist.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client maintenance & satisfaction assurance
    • Daily visits to clients to remain updated on their compounding needs & keep them aware of what we can offer.
    • Probe customers to find out about possible business expansion, i.e. take compounding courses, increase location size, open new location.
    • Gather information on compounding needs, close sales & forecast future requirements.
    • Call customers to follow up on their concerns, orders, and complaints.
  • New business development
    • Search online for potential clients, visit medical complexes and obtain referrals.
    • Ask customers for the opportunity to quote on competitor’s chemicals or devices.
  • Write sales reports
    • Describe the sales visits made, track expenses.
    • Prepare the schedule for visits and follow ups.
  • Trade shows and other projects
    • Attend trade shows, provide professional representation of the company.
    • Attend to other projects that may be required under this position.
Qualifications:
  • College or University Diploma in Science field


  • Minimum one (1) to four (4) years of sales experience


  • Fluent English required, spoken & written


  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite and Internet applications


  • Ideal candidate would be memorable, dynamic & animated


  • Proven abilities in finding and closing sales


  • Excellent listening & questioning skills


  • Effective organizational, time management and interpersonal skills


  • Positive attitude, internally motivated


  • Enthusiastic, goal-setter, customer service oriented


  • Comfortable working with short sale cycle


  • Daily travel in local area, occasional further distance road trips (within the province)
